Program Description:
We provide a well balanced age appropriate recreation program which includes social interaction, creative expression, spectator appreciation, intellectual stimulation, relaxation, and physical exercise.

Ages served:
Clients need to be enrolled in middle school or high school and between the ages of 10 - 21 years old.

Population Served:
We specialize in serving teenagers with developmental disabilities.

Geographical Area Served:
All of St. Charles County.  Camps are located in St. Charles, St. Peters, O'Fallon, and Wentzville.

Fees:
$3.25 per hour. Some field trips will cost campers additional money if they attend.

Financial Assistance:
Our agency offers scholarships based on income level and availability of funds.

Program staff to participant Ratio:
We generally provide 1:3 ratios.  However 1:1 or 2:1 ratios are also provided as needed.

Accessibility:
All of our sites are fully accessible.

Air-conditioned facilities:
All of our sites are air-conditioned with the exception of the overnight campouts in the summer.

Transportation Services:
We do not provide transportation to our programs.  However, if your child attends Summer School we will transport them from their school to camp only. Some transportation for Saturday programs is provided.

Activities:
Life management skills, cookouts, overnight camping trips, all day nature/adventure field trips, theme parties, socials, talent shows, theatrics, sensory stimulation, cooperative games, challenges, and more!

Types of support Staff:
Staff members are experienced in the field of developmental disabilities.  They are trained in the areas of personal care, basic medication, level one Medication, CPR, First Aid, & Crisis Prevention Intervention techniques.  Our staff members are made up of Special Education Teachers, Para-professionals, and college and high school students who are interested in the field of special education.
